Water based adhesive size for gilding with gold, silver and metal leaf.
Instacoll is an interior and exterior gilding size that creates a mirror shine without all the work of Traditional Water Gilding techniques. A Super Shine or Mirror Gloss finish is achieved without agate burnishing. Simulate the Tradional Water Gilding mirror shine gold leaf finish.
After the Insatcoll base has dried completely, apply the Activator to the area ready for gilding. Let dry and apply the leaf. Reactivate as necessary. The ultimate mirror gloss is obtained when gilding on a completely smooth surface with genuine gold patent leaf.
