Tamisé Metal Leaf Flakes

Small, irregular flakes of imitation metal leaf designed for decorative gilding and creative surface effects.

Flake sizes range approximately from 1/8" up to 1/2", allowing for varied texture and organic visual movement.

Tamisé metal leaf flakes are created by intermixing imitation gold, imitation silver, copper, and variegated metal leaf colors. The result is a rich palette of metallic tones that can be layered, blended, or scattered to produce unique patterns, color shifts, and textured finishes not achievable with standard leaf sheets.

Tamisé Flakes

Offering a kaleidoscope of shimmering color combinations, Tamisé flakes bring depth and sparkle to fine art, decorative finishes, mixed media, and design projects. Their irregular form makes them especially well suited for expressive, non-uniform effects, accent highlights, and contemporary gilding applications.

Flakes are packaged in clear 4 ½" × 3" × 2" boxes for easy viewing and storage, with simple application instructions provided on the reverse. They are easy to handle and can be selectively applied or generously scattered, depending on the desired effect.

For best results, Tamisé flakes pair beautifully with water-based gilding adhesives such as AquaSize, allowing for smooth placement and strong adhesion on a wide range of surfaces.

Approximate coverage per 5 gram box is 3 sq ft., depending on application density.
