Our Burnish/Sealer primer and undercoat is ideally suited for interior and exterior applications.
This solvent based product produces a high quality, smooth surface for gilding. Pre-tinted in 3 color tones, yellow-ochre, red or grey. Each color can produce fault hiding bases or color enhancing undertones for your gilding project. For stone, concrete, brick, marble, wood, plastic, resin and more.
Burnish Sealer Yellow-Ochre
Burnish Sealer Priming Undercoat - ideal for Gold and imitation gold. A solvent based (oil based) primer-sealer for use with LeFranc and Dux gilder's sizing, as well as all water-based sizing. Burnish Sealer produces a high quality, smooth surface for gilding. Ochre, red or grey can produce fault hiding bases or color enhancing undertones. Dries to handle - 1 hour; to recoat - 8 hours. Full cure - 24 hours. Do not apply over latex or waterborne paints. Brush, roller or spray application. Ground shipment only. Download complete specification sheet for this product.
